Fold out poster

here i used the standard vertical fold and created a card that front message is also the inside message by cutting out a circle in the front flap.

moving on from the above card design i came up with the concept for a fold out poster instead of a card, the poster could be stuck up on a wall to save space and have a larger image.

Taking he form of a card and changing it form the usual open and shit card i designed a quick fold out poster using the simple shape and colour scheme i was investigating previously.

With the poster i designed an envelope that the poster fits into can can be posted off just as an normal envelope.

After seeing this mocked up and evaluating it with a friend i decided to redesign the envelope so that i could make use of the circle cut out on the front. I redesigned it into the shape of a bauble, to keep with the christmas theme and to make use of the space. It also adds an extra visual to a blank surface.

From the previous designs i took the triangle tree and changed it up to experiment with a variation images that could be on the poster. I think it worked well as it isn't  a normal, but not all people would be willing to put a poster up instead of popping a card on the mantel piece
